Save the Date: Webinar on Marketing Connected Toys to Children
August 8, 2017 | The Toy Association will be hosting a members-only webinar, “Marketing to Children: Complying with Regulations for Connected Toys,” on August 17 at 12 p.m. (Eastern). Registration is now open and is complimentary.
The one-hour session will provide companies selling connected toys with updates and guidance about complying with privacy and data collection regulations, and will address compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
The session will be led by Autumn Moore, The Toy Association’s manager of standards & regulatory affairs and updates and presented by Sheila Millar, partner at Keller and Heckman LLP. Millar has an extensive background in privacy and data security regulation. She represents businesses and trade associations on a variety of public policy and regulatory issues, including privacy, data security, cybersecurity, advertising matters, and product safety.
The webinar is open to all members, and highly recommended for representatives of companies that are invested in, or intend to enter, the expanding landscape of connected toys. As always, a recording of the session will be made available for members who register but are unable to participate live.
