toy-fair-memoriesOctober 19, 2021 | Attendee registration for Toy Fair New York 2022 has been open less than two weeks and already retailers from around the world have signed up for the show, which will take place Saturday, February 19 to Tuesday, February 22 at the Javits Center in New York City.

The international event has so far garnered the attention of buyers from 350 retail outlets, including Amazon, Five Below, HSN, Indigo Books and Music, IT’SUGAR, Learning Express, Mastermind Toys, The Entertainer, Toys“R”Us Canada, and Zulily, to name a few.

International interest in the event is strong, with registered attendees representing 30 countries and counting. Excluding the U.S. and Canada, other countries in attendance will include: Chile, France, Israel, Mexico, the Netherlands Taiwan, and more.

“These early numbers indicate that even in the midst of an ongoing pandemic, Toy Fair New York continues to be a not-to-miss event for the international toy & play community,” said Kimberly Carcone, senior vice president of global market events at the Toy Association. “We are reminding toy companies that exhibitor registration just opened on October 15 and space is available on the newly expanded and renovated show floor. With sound safety measures in place to ensure the health of all attendees, we are excited to welcome friends new and old back to Toy Fair New York for what is sure to be an outstanding event!”

Once registered to exhibit, companies can start filling their calendars with buyer meetings, book an appointment with The Toy Association trends team for the chance to be featured at the show, and take advantage of live and digital sponsorship opportunities to stand out before, during and after the event.

The newly expand Javits Center will present more opportunities. For those in the outdoor and juvenile products space, both areas will feature an expanded footprint on the show floor. More space throughout the Javits Center also means new networking and show programming, including an expanded lineup of Creative Factor educational seminars for designers and inventors; Brands Untapped, programming in partnership with MoJoNation which highlights creative collaborations between toy companies and high-profile partners spanning different industries and a new track, Welcome to the Metaverse in partnership with Robin Raskin and Solving for Tech, focused on digital play. More information about these sessions will be available at ToyFairNY.com in the coming weeks.

Space is also still open to exhibit in Toy Fair’s Launch Pad area, the show’s dedicated space for first-time exhibitors including up-and-coming toy inventors and international companies interested in expanding their products to the U.S.

“Whether you are a startup looking to make that break-through connection or the owner of well-loved toy brands, come February, New York will be the place to showcase the most creative toys and games on earth!” added Carcone.
