Webinar Reminder: Explore the Latest Collectible Trends

August 30, 2023 | Toy Association members are reminded to sign up for “Harnessing the Growing Trend of Collectibles: From Toys to Trading Cards and NFTs,” an upcoming webinar taking place Thursday, September 14 at 2 p.m. (Eastern). Registration is now open.

The session will delve into the rising popularity of collectibles (including limited-edition toys, action figures, plush toys, vintage dolls, trading cards and NFTs) and highlight their evolving role in today’s play culture, and will offer insights based on data from the Kids Insights™ and Parents Insights™ portals.

Beyond the rising popularity of collectibles, attendees will learn where and with which audiences this trend is most relevant as well as how kids’ growing desire for independence is reflected through their love for collectibles. Other topics will include the role of FOMO (the fear of missing out) in obtaining collectibles, the rise of fan communities, and how kids’ desire for personalization and exclusivity influence (and will further influence as they become adults) the NFT and digital collectibles space.

The webinar will be presented by members of the marketing intelligence firm, The Insights Family: Rachel Bardill, senior vice president of marketing & partnerships; Tanya Sarakinis, senior vice president of business development; and Stavros Triseliotis, strategic insights manager. It will be moderated by Anne McConnell, The Toy Association’s senior director of market research & educational initiatives.

The session is open to Toy Association members at no cost; non-members may join for a $99 registration fee. It is specifically recommended for publishers, advertisers, and professionals in advertising, content, licensing, marketing, product, and sales.

Questions about this webinar and other educational opportunities may be directed to The Toy Association’s Anne McConnell.
