Vote Today for the 2024 TAGIE Awards

October 18, 2024 | The deadline is approaching for toy professionals to cast their vote for People of Play’s (POP) 17th Annual Toy & Game International Excellence (TAGIE) Awards. The public voting period closes October 25; click here to access the ballots.

The TAGIEs honor the top inventors, designers, suppliers, retailers, marketers, and PR teams who have made a lasting impact on the industry. Winners in nine categories will be revealed at the live awards ceremony on November 8 at Joe’s Live Concert Venue in Rosemont, IL during POP week.

This year’s celebration, themed “Toys Through Time,” will also recognize Mary Danby, toy inventor and game designer, and Dan Romanelli, founder of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, with Lifetime Achievement Awards and celebrate Alan Dorfman, co-founder and president of Super Impulse USA, as the Industry Game Changer.

The TAGIE Awards event is part of a slate of events taking place during POP week, taking place November 6 to 9 in Rosemont, IL. The events include a welcome gathering on November 6, the 2024 Inventor Pitch & Innovation Conference from November 6 to 9, the Young Inventor Challenge and PlayCHIC Fashion Show on November 9, and the Chicago Toy & Game Fair from November 9 to 10.
