Toy Fair’s Safety Update Video Now Online
March 8, 2016 | The 2016 Toy Safety Update, presented February at the 113th North American International Toy Fair, is now available online for viewing. Speakers from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Toy Industry Association (TIA) provided a focused look at important updates to toy safety laws and other emerging legislative and regulatory activities, trends and issues that are pertinent to industry stakeholders.
“This year’s Safety Update provided useful insight in to the developments impacting our industry,” said Ed Desmond, TIA executive vice president, external affairs. “The most anticipated revisions to ASTM F963 we discussed will have a significant impact on the industry, while small businesses now have a more streamlined approach for their new products thanks to the Regulatory Robot tutorial.”
