Toy Companies Invited to Participate in Inaugural “CF@TF Inventor Day”
December 11, 2018 | Toy manufacturers are invited to participate in The Toy Association’s inaugural “CF@TF Inventor Day,” an opportunity to hear product pitches from select inventors and designers during Toy Fair New York.
“Toy Fair has long been a hub of innovation and creativity and now we are able to offer member companies and exhibitors another avenue to discover their next big seller,” said Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “This is an excellent opportunity for companies – especially those with inventor relations departments – to view innovative products, designs, and prototypes; meet the designers; and hopefully move the conversation forward.”
As part of the expanded Creative Factor educational programming at Toy Fair New York, CF@TF Inventor Day is being held on Friday, February 15, the day before the show opens, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Pitches will take place 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and again from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday. As previously announced, Creative Factor has a new advisory board whose input has raised the bar for the educational series aimed at entrepreneurs, inventors, and designers.
Toy Association manufacturer members and other Toy Fair exhibitors interested in hearing pitches should notify Brett Klisch (Creative Factor’s co-founder and creative director at Peru Meridian Studios) or The Toy Association’s Marian Bossard by February 1. The advisory board will perform the initial review and selection of applicants for CF@TF Inventor Day.
Toy Fair New York will take place Saturday, February 16, to Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Learn more at ToyFairNY.com.
