Share These Outdoor Safety Tips with Families
June 23, 2020 | With many families planning to spend more time playing at home this summer, The Toy Association is sharing its top tips for safe outdoor play with parents and caregivers.
The toy community is encouraged to share The Toy Association’s new summer safety infographic on social media. The graphic includes tips for shopping safely online and avoiding counterfeits; underscores the importance of adult supervision during play; and includes tips for ride-on safety, proper toy storage, and more.
“Safety is the toy industry’s top priority 365 days a year, but it’s equally essential that families have a firm understanding of toy and play safety,” said Adrienne Appell, senior director of strategic communications at The Toy Association. “We encourage all of our members and the wider toy community to share our safety advice with parents and caregivers. Together we can help ensure that playtime is both fun and safe for children this summer.”
