Looking for New Talent? Toy Association Members Invited to Otis Toy Design Program’s Spring Exhibition
May 4, 2021 | Toy industry professionals are invited to explore and celebrate the work of the newest generation of toy designers during an Industry Night Exhibition Preview hosted by the Otis College of Art and Design’s Toy Design Class of 2021.
Taking place Thursday, May 13 at 6 p.m. (Pacific), the exhibition will connect 14 graduates with toy industry professionals via their individual zoom showrooms. Registration for the virtual event is now open.
“This year, we have the unique opportunity to host those who wouldn't usually be able to attend our Senior Exhibition Industry Preview,” said Joyce Mesch, interim chair – Toy Design, Otis College of Art and Design. “We are looking forward to introducing our highly talented Toy Design graduates to industry professionals from across the country and around the globe while providing the toy design industry with access to the most recent emerging talent! The event is designed to allow attendees to meet one-on-one with any graduating student of interest, allowing toy companies to connect with the best and the brightest before the competition. We hope you'll join us – maybe you'll discover your next new toy designer.”
The Toy Association is a proud supporter of the Toy Design department at Otis College of Art and Design and offers Otis’ toy design students complimentary memberships in the Association so that they may take advantage of industry networking and other professional development opportunities.
