Free IETP Webinar Offers Insights on Importance of Supply Chain Transparency

March 17, 2022 | The Toy Association is alerting members to a free ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) webinar, “Improve Supply Chain Transparency Through Worker Insights,” taking place March 23. Toy professionals who are unable to attend the live session can register in advance for access to the recording.

The session will address how supply chain transparency is a crucial component to any company’s responsible sourcing strategy, especially amid ongoing travel restrictions that may make it difficult to visit business partners and their premises.

The one-hour virtual session will share trends and implications gained from the 17,770-plus workers that have contacted IETP’s Worker Helpline over the past 10 years. The helpline was established in 2010 to further drive supply chain transparency; to enable buyers and suppliers to access information in real-time and uncover potential issues that require immediate action; and to inform, educate and empower workers. The webinar will also present an overview of the analytics tools available through IETP to help businesses translate lessons learned into a more resilient supply chain.

The ICTI Ethical Toy Program (formerly ICTI CARE Process) is the ethical supply chain program for the global toy and entertainment industry. The Toy Association directly funded IETP at its founding and continues to support IETP’s work while offering its range of services to small- and mid-sized Toy Association member companies.
