Learn about IETP's Gender Equality Program in Free Webinar

August 25, 2022 | The Toy Association is encouraging members to attend a free ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) webinar on September 15 that will provide insights on its new Gender Equality Program launching in October. Toy professionals who are unable to attend the live session can register in advance to receive a recording.

The session will detail IETP’s new program, which is designed to empower women & gender equality principles at the factory level and promote supply chain sustainability. The session will also preview resources available through the Gender Equality Program and provide insights for businesses on how they can incorporate gender equality into their own supply chain.

As a signatory to the United Nations (UN) Women's Empowerment Principles (WEP), IETP designed its new program to help promote the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG5) for gender equality and offer buyers and suppliers opportunities to take part in gender equality and women empowerment initiatives.

The ICTI Ethical Toy Program (formerly ICTI CARE Process) is the ethical supply chain program for the global toy and entertainment industry. The Toy Association directly funded IETP at its founding and continues to support IETP’s work while offering its range of services to small- and mid-sized Toy Association member companies.
