canadian toy association 2024 hall of fame logoJuly 5, 2024 | The toy community is invited to submit nominees for induction into the 2024 Canadian Toy Association (CTA) Hall of Fame. Consideration for the Hall of Fame is open to individuals, living or posthumous, who have made outstanding contributions to the toy industry in Canada throughout their careers, while the Rising Star Awards recognize emerging leaders whose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth in the industry. The nomination deadline for both honors is Thursday, July 18 at 5 p.m. (Eastern).

All toy industry professionals are eligible to submit candidates for consideration. CTA membership is not required for submitting a nomination. Detailed nomination criteria and information about the selection process is available here for the Hall of Fame and here for the Rising Star Awards.

CTA staff will tally the nomination results and provide a summary to members of the Hall of Fame Committee to discuss and create a list of recommended inductees. The list will then be provided to the CTA Board of Directors, which will confirm the individuals to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The 2024 inductees will be honored at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony taking place Thursday, November 14, at the Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Questions about the Canadian Toy Association Hall of Fame may be directed to info@canadiantoyassociation.ca.
