Prep for the Preview: How to Make the Most of Your Time at LA Fall Preview
July 22, 2024 | With just weeks left to go until The Toy Association’s sold-out, inaugural LA Fall Preview — taking place the month of September with a dedicated market week from September 9 to 13 — industry professionals are encouraged to make the most out of their time in Los Angeles with this helpful information to navigate the marketplace:
The Basics
The Toy Association’s LA Fall Preview building is located at 2250 East Imperial Highway in El Segundo. Registration is required to access the building.
The Association will provide free shuttle bus service around the toy district (more information to come) during the market week. Additionally, food trucks will be available outside of the LA Fall Preview building every day during the market week and on Tuesdays and Thursdays every other September week. The LA Fall Preview building also has a café and seating indoors and outdoors.
The Tenants
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with 78 companies of all sizes and categories all under one roof at the Association’s LA Fall Preview building, including Hasbro, LEGO, Thames & Kosmos, Crazy Aaron’s, Horizon Group USA, and more. Manufacturers will showcase their latest creations, offering an exclusive sneak peek at upcoming products sure to be big sellers for the 2025 holiday season. Register & Make Appointments
Attendee registration is required for the LA Fall Preview; click here and use your Toy Association website credentials to secure your spot. Click here to create an account if you do not already have one.
Once registered, attendees can begin making appointments with all tenants at 2250 East Imperial Highway. The appointment-making tool, designed to seamlessly help create connections between companies and attendees, ensures that time at the event is maximized. The calendar of meetings will sync with the “LA Fall Preview” mobile app, which will be available to download in August on the Apple Store and Google Play Store, so all appointments will be conveniently accessible in one place.
Market Week Events
The LA Fall Preview dedicated market week, taking place September 9 to 13, features several educational sessions and not-to-miss industry networking events — including the marquee “come one, come all” LA Fall Preview Networking Party on Tuesday, September 10.
- Monday, September 9
“Party with a Purpose” is The Toy Foundation’s critical fundraiser benefiting pediatric care at children’s hospitals. Taking place at TAO Los Angeles at 7 p.m., the event will feature an exclusive performance by Blues Traveler, in addition to key networking opportunities, an auction of unique experiences and items, and delicious food and drink, making for an unforgettable evening. Start the morning off with a research presentation from Circana at the LA Fall Preview building, which is complementary and open to all. More details are forthcoming.
After a busy day of meetings, join The Toy Association and your fellow toy industry colleagues at the LA Fall Preview Networking Party, sponsored by Circana, taking place at the Otis College of Art & Design at 6 p.m. The event is free, but your RSVP is required in advance.

Spielwarenmesse will host a morning press conference at the LA Fall Preview Building. More details are forthcoming.
Then, visit “Networking Night,” taking place at 1960 Grand in El Segundo at 5 p.m., for complimentary tacos and margaritas for a casual networking evening. No registration is required.

Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) will close out the week with the Wonder Women Awards at The Beverly Hilton.
