This hour-long webinar will give members an inside look at how they can leverage The Toy Association’s communications activities, as well as tips and tricks for creating an impactful communications strategy that will help garner coverage for their products throughout the year.

Presented by The Toy Association’s Adrienne Appell, executive vice president of marketing communications and Kristin Morency Goldman, senior director of strategic communications, the session will cover:

  • General PR 101: best practices and tips for garnering coverage for brands.
  • A rundown of The Toy Association’s safety & advocacy communications; trend & product promotions; and consumer outreach.
  • The Toy Association’s main vehicles for disseminating industry news: Toy News Tuesday, trade partnerships, and social media, and how members can tap into these vehicles to bolster awareness of their company, products, initiatives, and brands.
  • Crisis communications – how the team can help.
  • How to leverage the various initiatives and programs powered by The Toy Association, including Toy Safety Awareness Month, PlaySafe.org, trend reports, The Genius of Play, and STEAM initiative.
