TikTok Shop Explained: Grow Your Business While Protecting Your IP (Webinar)

An upcoming Toy Association webinar will equip industry professionals with the knowledge they need to navigate the marketplace and ensure their intellectual property is protected.

Taking place Thursday, November 7 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), “TikTok Shop: What Companies Should Know About TikTok Shop and its Intellectual Property Protection Tools” will provide attendees with an overview of TikTok Shop as a distinctive social commerce platform, its intellectual property protection measures, and the notice and takedown process for fraudulent items. Presenters will provide a step-by-step guide for submitting a takedown request, along with tips for a successful brand protection experience. A Q&A session will follow.

Registration is now open. The webinar will be presented by TikTok Shop’s Alyssa Betz, head of industry and regulatory affairs for governance and experience in the Americas, Kostas Fintrilis, head of brand relations in the Americas, and Wei-Wen Wang, program manager of intellectual property rights. Owen Caine, vice president of government affairs at The Toy Association, will moderate.

The session is open to Toy Association members at no cost; non-members may join for a $99 registration fee. All toy industry professionals are invited to participate, but it is specifically recommended for industry professionals who own intellectual property or are involved with online monitoring and enforcement services.
