Toy Fair® Checklist: Mark these Upcoming Deadlines
December 2, 2024 | In just a few months, the global toy community will reunite in New York City at Toy Fair®, taking place March 1 to 4 at the Javits Center. The most influential industry event in the Western Hemisphere offers exposure and business opportunities for all — from first-time exhibitors and up-and-coming international companies looking to enter the U.S. market, to buyers, press, and the inventor community.
Whether you’re an exhibitor or attendee, make sure to cross the following items off your Toy Fair checklist:
Secure Your Spot — Press & Student Registration Now Open
Attendee registration is now open to all, from retail buyers to college students and members of the media. Attendees can take advantage of business and educational opportunities, networking events, and more, including Toy Fair University, a robust educational program filled with seminars and workshops covering a wide variety of topics; “neighborhood” areas for product discovery, such as the Launch Pad, Baby PLAYce, and Hot for Holiday; and more.
Exhibitor Excellence — Mark these Dates for a Successful Show Experience
Toy Fair exhibitors are encouraged to mark their calendars for upcoming “Exhibitor Academy” sessions, which help set companies up for success with information to prepare them for the show. The “Freshman Class” session is taking place December 3, while “PR Bootcamp” is happening December 12. Click on the link for each session for more information and to register.
Also, don’t forget to dive into the Exhibitor Kit and keep note of these money-saving deadlines and important dates.
Trade Guest Discount – Reduced Rate Available until December 31
Trade guests, including marketing and entertainment executives, inventors, publishers, brand owners, and other toy industry-adjacent professionals, are recommended to register for a Toy Fair badge by December 31 to save $100 on admission. Trade guests will have access to all four days of the show, including all Toy Fair University sessions, and will be able to make appointments with exhibiting companies on the Map Your Show platform.
Book Your Hotel – Secure ASAP to Avoid Disappointment
Secure your accommodations with the best availability and rates for Toy Fair by booking your preferred hotel as soon as possible using the show’s designated room block. While the block is available until February 3, rooms are filling up rapidly and some have already sold out. Please note: onPeak is the only official housing partner for Toy Fair. Beware of working with unauthorized hotel resellers.
There’s Still Time to Exhibit – Join the Ultimate Destination in Play Today
Exhibit space is limited but still available in some areas, including Toy Fair’s Launch Pad, the show’s dedicated space for first-time exhibitors featuring up-and-coming toy companies and international companies interested in expanding their products to the U.S. Private meeting rooms are also available. Companies are encouraged to act fast and contact The Toy Association’s Stacy Liebensohn for more information.
