Blue Plate Media to Host Free Educational Marketing Forum at Toy Fair®

toy fair centerFebruary 13, 2025 | Blue Plate Media Services (BPMS), in collaboration with The Toy Association™, will present its 15th Annual Blue Plate Media Lounge at Toy Fair®, where the agency will host free educational sessions open to all Toy Fair exhibitors and attendees. Taking place on Monday, March 3, the programming is an opportunity to learn hands-on, insider tips from toy industry media executives about strategic media planning, while also offering a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the show floor.

Sessions will include:

Stacking the Deck in Your Favor in 2025: Maximizing Impact & ROI from Media (10 to 11 a.m.)
Presented by BPMS’s Media Director Tim Jones, this session will provide data-backed insights for developing effective media plans targeting both kids and parents. Attendees will gain practical tips on reaching these audiences, optimizing creative strategies for greater impact, and implementing best practices for managing their media approach. A Q&A session will follow.

TikTok Talks TikTok: Leveraging the Platform to Your Advantage (12 to 1 p.m.)
Moderated by BPMS President David Becker and presented by TikTok’s Agency Partnership Manager Anthony Felix, this session will explore audience insights and trending content on TikTok, while addressing common misconceptions about the platform. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how toy and games companies can succeed on TikTok and the crucial role creators play in driving engagement. The discussion will also cover effective tools for securing user-generated content (UGC) when brand assets are limited, using a real-world case study. Additionally, the session will examine TikTok’s place within the broader media mix and provide an overview of TikTok Shop, including what it is, why it matters, and how brands can leverage it. A Q&A session will follow.

Media Expert Round Table (2 to 5 p.m.)
Pull up a chair for a one-on-one with BPMS media industry experts on today’s challenges and opportunities regarding media platforms that matter most.

Show attendees should register in advance to attend the sessions. The Blue Plate Media Lounge will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 3 in Room 1D05. The lounge is open to all show attendees but specifically beneficial to toy marketers, marketing directors, media directors, and other media professionals responsible for advertising toy products to consumers.
