How Kids Spend Their Time & Money: Toy Association Webinar to Reveal New Data
March 20, 2025 | Toy industry professionals are reminded to sign up for “The 2025 American Kid Consumer: What Companies Should Know About U.S. Toy Consumers and Kids’ Routines and Media Lives,” an upcoming Toy Association webinar taking place Thursday, March 27 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).
During the session, which expands upon the information shared during a Toy Fair® University presentation at Toy Fair 2025, participants will learn key findings from new research conducted by BrandTrends on U.S. kids’ behavior, including their daily routines, digital and screen preferences, and more. The presentation will also highlight parent and gift-giver shopping trends to equip toy companies with the latest information to help increase sales in the U.S. toy market.
Additionally, BrandTrends will share top-level findings on opportunities, obstacles, and key success factors for growth in the U.S. toy market in 2025. To help toy companies understand how best to position their product lines, the hour-long session will explore children’s weekly routines and playing habits, time spent watching TV and streaming services, their relationships with digital apps, virtual reality and the metaverse, kids’ reading habits, pocket money spend, and more. It will also review data on parent shopping habits.
Registration is now open. The webinar will be presented by Philippe Guinaudeau, CEO of BrandTrends. Anne McConnell, The Toy Association’s senior director of market research & educational initiatives, will moderate.
The session is open to Toy Association members at no cost; non-members may join for a $99 registration fee. It is specifically recommended for toy executives and staff responsible for development, sales, marketing, and research.
