‘Play in Bloom’ Giveaway from The Genius of Play™ Reaches 60,000+ Consumers
June 18, 2025 | Twenty-five companies participated in The Genius of Play’s “Play in Bloom” giveaway, reaching more than 60,000 consumers with creative and engaging toys for the spring season. From bubble machines from Sunny Days Entertainment and a flower growing kit from Blue Marble to travel games from Bananagrams and many more, one product (or product bundle) from each participating company was featured on The Genius of Play’s Facebook and Instagram.
Open to any Toy Association member interested in participating, the campaign was a free promotional opportunity allowing companies to tap into The Genius of Play’s social media audience of parents, caregivers, and educators and showcase the developmental and fun aspects of their products.
Starting in April and running through mid-June, two to three companies were spotlighted each week on both social media platforms. To enter the giveaway, consumers responded to tailored prompts within each post’s caption, driving organic engagement with The Genius of Play and the featured companies. Anyone who commented on a post was entered into the drawing, and one winner was chosen at random from either platform. The social media campaign accumulated 80,595 impressions, reaching 60,101 consumers during the spring season.
