This is a members-only meeting.

Date & Time:

Tuesday, December 17, 2024
2 - 2:45 p.m. (Eastern)

Objective:

This meeting will provide Toy Association members with an update on the threat of significantly harmful tariffs potentially being placed on toys manufactured outside of the US, including China, Mexico and Canada. Extensive advocacy and communications/media activity are underway by the Toy Association to protect the industry and the vital role you play as our members. We are urging all members to contact their Congressional Delegation over December to express concern over tariffs. We will discuss how you can help during this Call To Action session and will provide messaging and a template letter for you to use.

Who Should Attend:

Representatives from all Toy Association member companies are strongly encouraged to attend.

What You Will Learn:

As you’ve likely heard, President-elect Trump is threatening to impose tariffs on products manufactured outside of the US for import into the U.S. Tariffs as high as 60% could be placed on toys coming from China. The time is now for our industry to come together and take steps to stop tariffs from devastating your business. We need you to weigh in with your members of Congress in your home state over the December holidays and New Year.

Presenters:

Greg Ahearn, President & CEO, The Toy Association

Kathrin Belliveau, Chief Policy Officer, The Toy Association
