Samir N. Kapadia is Managing Principal at The Vogel Group and the Founder + CEO of India
Index, a B2B supply chain marketplace that helps U.S. companies import from India. Samir
is a frequent contributor to The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, The New York Times, The
Washington Post, The Hill, POLITICO and other media outlets to discuss supply chain, trade
and global politics. Over his career as an international trade consultant and lobbyist in
Washington DC, Kapadia has advised on billions of dollars in Indian foreign direct
investment, helping some of the country's largest conglomerates enter the United States
market. In 2015, Kapadia concurrently served as Head of International Expansion for Hinge,
a global online dating application fully owned by Match Group, leading the company's market
entry into India. He is a Deputy Global Board Member of the U.S.-India Business Council in
Washington, DC. Samir received his B.A. and M.B.A from Georgetown University.
