The 2026 Toy of the Year® (TOTY®) Awards are just a few weeks away, and time is running out to vote to determine which finalists will take home a prestigious award. The winners will be announced at the TOTY Awards ceremony on Friday, February 13 at Pier Sixty in New York City.

Ballots have been emailed to all eligible voters; email The Toy Association’s Janis Zegman with any questions or to request your company’s ballot. Members of the public can cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award at ToyAwards.org.

Dozens of toys and games that innovate beloved play patterns are among the inventive finalists spanning 16 product categories. The category winners are determined by votes from Toy Association members, retailers, and media; the Specialty Toy of the Year will be chosen based on votes exclusively from Astra members; the overall Toy of the Year is decided by a panel of industry experts; and the People’s Choice Award is determined solely by consumer votes.

The TOTY Awards serve as the official kickoff to Toy Fair® week (February 14 to 17). All proceeds from the TOTY Awards program and gala benefit the philanthropic work of The Toy Foundation™ to bring play to children in need.
